The Open House restaurant is open on the front with colonial arches and overlooks the pool. It has a wooden roof ceiling on its main hall which is some 100 years old with exquisite decorative work, sourced from the marriage hall of a feudal chief in Tamil Nadu. The restaurant offers multi-cuisine fare with the specialty of seafood and local ethnic cuisine.

The Ocean Grill beach side restaurant is ideally situated between the beach grove and the sea. With thatched roofing and sea breeze caressing through this restaurant specializes in sea food.

Facilities

The main swimming pool features set of Jacuzzis. The Beach Center is in an acre of land with lush green swaying coconut palms beside the beach with access to the main hotel area on the cliff.

Games like beach volleyball are organized on request. Barbeques provide a spectacular view of the night sky and the countless lights of a myriad fishing boats of the local fishermen reflecting on the waves of the turquoise blue sea.

Cultural performances are arranged in the evenings by professional artists and groups including art forms like mohiniyattam, kathakali and classical music.

This route takes in idyllic villages such as Thottappally, Thrikkunnapuzha and the Kayamkulam Lake, where one can see a lovely fleet of Chinese Fishing Nets. Night anchoring takes place at Vallikkavu or Alumkadavu where the world famous ‘Hugging Guru’’ or Amma’s Ashram is situated. If interested you can go to visit to the Ashram in the evening.
