About the Poovar Beach

Poovar is actually a beach and backwater resort rolled into one. The hotels are located on the banks of a beautiful estuary. You have to hop across by boat to reach the beach that is on a spit of land on the opposite side. Very much the place to go for a quiet ‘get away from it all holiday’ in idyllic tropical surroundings.
